Job Description
About The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Tester to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing software quality through manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, and suggesting improvements to ensure our digital platforms operate flawlessly. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity, usability, and security of our marketplace and aid platform.
Responsbilties
- Review and analyze system specifications to develop effective testing strategies.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Evaluate product code according to specifications.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Develop effective testing strategies
- Website Monitoring
- Manual Testing and Automation Testing
- Design Testing
- Task and Ticket Management, experience with ticketing systems
- Bug reporting
Job Requirement
- Proven experience as a Tester or similar role.
- Experience in project management and QA methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
