Job Description
- The day-to-day cash Management and Transfers including dealing with banking activities.
- Preparing all types of vouchers daily and recording the transactions in the system.
- Paying out all approved staff salaries, Operation expenses and Projects payments.
- Compare the entries with original vouchers at the end of each month to make sure that the expenses and vouchers are recorded correctly into the System.
- Reconcile the Cash and Bank Balances at the end of each month and preparing the cash count of available currencies.
- Following up the staff Advance and petty cash to make sure that the advances are cleared and replenished on time.
- Keep track of all taxes to be paid on time as per government rules and regulations in coordination with Finance Officer.
- File originals and Scan soft copies of documents according to stablished system.
- Helping the Finance Officer to reconcile the accounts for annual and project auditing, in addition, making sure that the documents are ready for the auditors.
- To serve as procurement committee as required.
- Help Finance staff for preparation of project and annual audits.
- Travel and work in other regional and field offices as and when required.
- Work as acting finance officer while he/she is on leave/travel to other regions.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor and head of region.
Job Requirement
Language requirements, if any:
- Dari with basic Pashto and English knowledge.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor of Business Administration with Specialization in Finance plus having other accounting qualifications would be an advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum four years of relevant experience in Finance and accounting field.
Skills:
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent team and stand-alone works.
