Job Description
Locally based network
Contacts local non-governmental organizations and local authorities. Explores potential areas for collaboration and builds relationships marked by mutual trust and recognition. Represents Cordaid and realizes the effect on the corporate image.
Network Knowledge (sharing)
Networks with government authorities and non-governmental organizations to share information and the required reports. Facilitates collaboration and communication between the country office, government entities, and local partners.
Liaison Results Reports
Collects information on liaison targets and reports about the results, specifics, and possible deviations following required reporting standards, providing solutions to minimize the impact of deviations. Closely working with the field team and PMEAL department to have up-to-date project data. Provide real-time data, based on donor requirements and analysis of the compiled data from the field. Registration of the project/s in the Ministry of Economy online portal as well as other line ministries (when/if required) and reporting on a bi-annual and ad-hoc basis. Work with the Project Manager to get timely reporting, review the quality of all MoEc reports version final reporting products before release.
Administration
Facilitates the visa application process for Cordaid expat staff and work permits for national staff and follows up with governmental authorities and the residency department. Follow up on the country-specific requirements for Cordaid’s registration and ensure these requirements are timely met. Keeping the project database up to date based on the organization and client demand
Integrity
Showcases integrity standards as outlined in Cordaid’s integrity policies—Fulfils integrity responsibilities as outlined in Cordaid’s Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures. Actively contributes to a safe environment within their scope of influence by encouraging dialogue, trust, understanding, and adherence to Cordaid’s integrity standards and procedures.

Job Requirement
Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences
University degree or specialized certificate / professional qualification in public administration, social sciences, health, agriculture, economy, civil engineering, or another relevant subject.
Minimum of three years relevant working experience in the field of representation, liaison, or network building in an international NGO environment.
Experience and knowledge about program funding identification and reporting standards like reporting to MoEC, public administration, and organizations.
Strong knowledge of government procedures particularly MoEc, ANDMA, MoPH, MoRR, MoIC and other relevant government entities.
The strong organizer of one’s work, setting the right priorities.
Behavioral values and skills: Trust, accountability, problem-solving, cooperation, negotiating,
flexibility, creativity, innovation, relationship building, diplomacy, and being result-oriented.
Very good English writing and communication skills
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

A flexible, adaptive approach and comfortable with a changing work environment.
Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or journalism are desirable but not mandatory
Work experience in the humanitarian sector will be an advantage.
