Job Description
Job Summary
Preparation of standard curriculum of the selected vocational skills trainings in collaboration with the DAIL so Recruitment of qualified trainers and set-up of vocational classes based on the DAIL standards, Constant monitoring of the progress of the vocational training classes, Provision of tool kits and business startup support/job placement to the gradated trainees.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordination with DAIL regarding development of training curriculum for the selected skills
- Preparation of ToR and selection criteria for Vocational skills trainer
- Local announcement for recruitment of qualify trainers (Through HR dept)
- Select the place for TVET with close coordination community and DAIL
- Set-up and arrange the classes of the vocational skills training centers
- Commencement of Vocational Skill Training
- Ensuring regular monitoring of vocational skills training classes by field team
- Regular Monitoring by MEAL from the vocational training class in targeted areas
- Technical monitoring by Livelihood program team from vocational skill training classes in targeted areas
- Identifying the tool kits for TEVT
- Procurement of the Tool kits through supply chain
- Distribution of Tool kits for TEVT Trainees after graduation
- Distribution of certificates in a official ceremony
- Post-graduation support (business start-up support in terms of money or equipment)
- Post distribution monitoring Regular and on need field visits from the project site.
- On time reporting of the overall activities being undertaken at the field level.
- Any other tasks assigned by the line supervisor.
Job Requirement
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Education or Agriculture,
- Graduates from Vocational Skills Institute can also apply.
Experience:
- At least 2 - 4 years of work experience, particularly with an international organization or local NGO in the related field, women empowerment, and community development.
- Collection and coordination with stakeholders
- Understanding of Pashto, Dari and English both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-ethnic team and take on diverse tasks.
Required Skills:
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in groups.
- If necessary, willing to go to the field with other project staff.
- Be punctual, on time, and able to meet deadlines.
Language Requirement:
- Sound ability to speak local and English languages.
