Job Description
- Monthly Taxes Calculation and Process of Payment
- Quarterly report to MTO, and get Quarterly clearance from MTO
- Yearly clearance from MTO get clearance certificate for the Company
- Estimate and track tax returns; Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
- Timely Cash-in at MTO
- Well-known and familiar with Afghanistan tax laws
- Meet the deadline and have taxes submitted promptly
- Ensure 100% remittance of all tax and statutory obligations.
- Well-known online tax return system of the Ministry of Finance Experience using ARDES (Afghanistan Revenue Department Electronic Service) online tax preparation application.
- Ensure accurate computation of all tax liabilities.
- Ensure complete documentation of relevant supports and proof of tax remittance
- Provide support in the identification, review, and implementation of tax optimization opportunities
- Implement effective tax planning strategies and ensure full compliance with relevant tax laws
- Understand the financial and operational implications of various tax laws and ensure compliance
- Excellent accounting skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience using tax preparation software and applications according to Afghanistan Taxes Software
- Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
- Tax Management and regulatory compliance of tax reporting/returns
- Liaise with the tax consultants to protect the company's interests during tax investigations and MTO queries.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the smooth conduct of tax audits.
- Address any queries or concerns raised during the audit process.
Job Requirement
1.Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification in taxation
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax-related roles.
- Proven track record of successful tax compliance and reporting.
3. Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
4.Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
5.Team Player:
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
6. Technology Proficiency:
- Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
