Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Checking the visitors and staff entering the premises
Perform registration of visitors
Informing the supervisor regarding any security problem
Tasks in details:
Make sure that the main gates are closed and locked when not in used
Keep the duty area clean
Assist colleagues with other duties in the GIZ-PRMO HRT office
To accompany the visitors in the relevant office
Operate and taking care of the office generators
Ensure proper duty hand over to someone on the shift
Ensure that you have the mean of communication in case of emergency
Fully brief your replacement when you hand over
Perform any other duties assigned by the line supervisor
Job Requirement
Education:
Secondary school but minimum high school graduates preferred.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience with NGOs or other international agencies.
Professional Experience:
At least one to two years of work experience in indoor guard job,
Preferred from related Province with familiarity with the Herat city duty station.
Other experiences and skills (e.g. language, IT skills, social and personal skills, etc.):
Ability in operating VHF or handheld radio
Communicating in English would be an advantage but not a criterion.
