Job Description
- Summary of Key Functions:
- Successfully attend assessment training for interviewers as planned by the team in order to learn about data collection techniques and practice and the use of data collection tools
- Perform the allocated job of interviewer according to the given travel plan and schedule during survey period.
- Collect data from community members (women/men & demographic mix), IDP camps, Community Based & Grassroots organizations, Public Authorities, other key stakeholders and opinion leaders (Religious leaders, traditional leaders, etc.)
- Travel to the targeted villages /assigned locations for interview.
- Explain the purpose and scope of the data collection to respondents before the start of interviews
- Successfully and faithfully perform the interview in the assigned locations, collect and retain the interview results and interview sheets.
- Completion data collection according to the tools and deadlines provided in the work plan
- Ensure accuracy of the data and reporting any problems encountered during data collection to program staff immediately.
- Coordination with related technical staff in development/ amendment of assessment tools including questionnaire, collected data and etc.
- Coordination in data entry of collected data
- Key relations:
- Ensures coordination with PQ unit and project/ program team
- Duty Locations:
- Station in Herat sub-office with travel to all districts of Herat province
- Key Results Expected:
Handing over the results of the work in an organized manner as per instructions.

Skills and Experience:
Education:
Passed grade 12, 14 or equivalent professional qualifications.
Work Experience:
Having 6 months to 1 year in data collection experience, especially within an NGO, UN agencies or similar organization
Languages Skills:
Fluency in English, Dari and/or Pashto, both written and spoken
