Job Description
The Call Center of Polio Eradication programme at the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) was re-established March 2023 to facilitate community listening, feedback loops, community education and awareness. This Call center will provide platform for telephonic queries and complaints about polio eradication to be addressed timely. Likewise, it will deliver accurate information about the benefits of vaccines for polio and other vaccine-preventable diseases to the target audiences through telephone effective conversation, text, and voice messages to promote their acceptance in the community.
This Center will be a two-way communication channel; in addition to performing as a call reception center, there will be capability to call out to specific recipients (target groups) to provide information on vaccines, vaccinations, and encourage caregivers to vaccinate their children against polio and other childhood diseases.
Unlike previous utility of the Call center for monitoring of polio vaccinations in inaccessible areas, this Call center is envisioned for monitoring, surveys and communication purposes across the country with focus on low performing areas or communities. Other Call centers in East and South regions will compliment activities of this Center.
Job Requirement
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Information management, IT, statistics, data science, public health, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, and database design and maintenance preferably in the public health sector
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Stata, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to a non-technical audience
- Experience in producing analytical products/reports for program leadership and stakeholders
