Job Description
- Reports to In charge of the Women Friendly Health Space.
- Collaborates with: Members of the Women Friendly Health Space (WFHS), and other project staff at CARE sub office level.
- Actively contributes to other WFHS colleagues assigned tasks and the project team meetings and coordination events at provincial/sub office/field level.
KEY RESULT EXPECTED
- Identify, create and facilitate age-appropriate, thematic-based lesson plans
- Work as a part of a collaborative team, providing support to any specialist implementing activities.
- Prepare the learning working environment by creating a welcoming space that exhibits participant's work.
- Provide information around health and reproductive health that are age and culturally appropriate.
- Support peer education programs and networks if applicable
- Build positive relations with youth and adults to serve as a role model with respect to demeanor, communication, and behavior.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of participants in the program by closely supervising all activities.
- Data collection and preparing monthly reports of the health education provided to the adolescents and youth Any other tasks assigned by her supervisor.
- Assist in participant's enrollment, recording and submitting daily attendance records and other required documents to the program director.
- Inspect daily all facilities (including shared spaces), equipment, and supplies; be sure all are accounted for and put away at the end of each day.
- Demonstrate commitment to leadership development, community building, and community organizing as strategies for social change.
- Maintain accurate program documentation (incident/accident/behavior reports, attendance & sign-in / sign-out sheets).
- Actively participate in all aspects of professional development, including scheduled supervision, team meetings, pre-service training, and additional paid professional development training required.
- Demonstrate key competencies including initiative, teamwork, cooperation, preparedness, professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to improve continuously.
- Organize and participate in external special events to promote the Agency's mission and image, cultivate relationships, and generate broad support.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- At least baccalaureate degree but University degree in social science or in similar fields is preferable.
• 2 years’ experience in Youth Education with INGOs/NGOs/Government and others
• Good communication skills
- Ability to travel remote areas and district.
- Good relation and fame in the target community.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work effectively in team
Languages Skills:
- Fluency in spoken and written Dari and Pashtu is a requirement. English Language skills is a plus point
