Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The Regional Finance/Accounting Development Specialist will work directly under the direction supervision of Business Recovery Initiative Business Development Manager/ Senior Finance Manager. The job description below outlines the primary responsibilities and is not intended to be all encompassing. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Provide financial management support to the project, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Developing Financial Performance Management System
- Developing Financial Planning & Control System
- Continuously handling and managing all finance-related system in order to deliver a fast, informative and attractive report to Top Management
- To help the BRI recipients with finance and accounting training
- Improving Business Practices in terms of financial management
- Participate in the preparation of financial training materials
- Ensure that the project's financial systems and processes are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and practices as per the projects requirement
Any other task assigned by line supervisor or senior management
Job Requirement
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with experience using QuickBooks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience working in Afghanistan or a similar context is preferred
