Job Description
- Ensure that all activities are implemented according to the activity plan and in line with the project and program objectives.
- Participate and support the development of the M&E tools for project including M&E plan, checklist, database on different levels.
- Undertake regular monitoring of project activities in Wardak & Ghazni provinces to ensure that the quality and quantity of the program activities being carried according to Project.
- Prepare and implement monthly monitoring and evaluation plans for the program in consultation with the M&E department.
- Regular preparation of Monitoring and Evaluation reports required documents, photos, success stories for ADWSO activities and handover to Mazar HQ office.
- Complete and submit regular reports on the monitoring and evaluation findings in the field to Project Manager, which includes reporting of field visits.
- Participate in designing program evaluations, monitoring systems, field assessments and research, including recruiting, selection, management and oversight of field staff, individuals and groups that implement various components of the field work.
- Provide technical assistance to field teams during implementation of activities.
- Monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems and quality controls are in place. (Provide proper feedback to the team based on the finding).
- Communicate closely with the field staff of the project for better reporting of the project.
- A strong commitment to child protection vision, mission and values and adhere to all child’s policies and procedures.
Job Requirement
- At least 3 years of experience of performing monitoring and evaluation (intervention in child protection programs is an added advantage)
- A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, BBA, or related field. Degree in Social Work is an added advantage
- Experience of working in Kobo data collection and kobo toolbox.
- Communication skill in planning, reporting, and working relations.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in national languages.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English language.
- Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint) data analysis apps is an added advantage.
- Ability to travel by car or common carrier for out of province and rural travel
