Job Description
- Responsible for providing CMS services in the CMS
- Assists in developing and maintaining an environment that promotes physical, social and emotional development through arts, crafts, games and other child friendly activities.
- Take care and mind the children of PSS clients while the mother is coming for PSS consultation
- Provide a hobby and game playing to the children and say story to the children
- Design and implement learning environments for children to learn some basic tips required for children.
- Ensure that children get all necessary support during the activities and that rules and discipline are set up in a positive and constructive way.
- Prepare activities plan/schedule and arrange materials needed for the activities;
- Collect information (attendance sheets, questionnaires, etc.) and report identified cases of children with specific needs/extremely vulnerable to the Psychosocial Officer.
- Ensure safety and wellbeing of the children at the CMS and as well as the environment
- Ensure that all games and equipment are available and counted at the end of the day and ensure children are using the games and equipment in a proper way and rotation system.
- Play a vital role in setting up and running recreational activities for children using various individual and team games, and storytelling enabling access to information, child protection messages.
- Ensure child safeguarding checklists is followed in the in the child friendly space.
- Support children to understand the feedback mechanism and use it to provide their feedback in confidential and safe manner and ensure responses are provided to children on timely basis.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or similar competency
- Minimum 2 year work experience in Child minding and child protection
- Experiences with working inside Child Friendly Space
- Feeling the targeted children like her child and being mercy to the children
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening skills
- Ability to allocate and review priorities to meet the deadlines Ability to identify problems ad resolutions
- Able to work independently with little supervision, reliable, trustworthy, and committed to team’s success
