Job Description
Job Summary:
The part time teacher teaches relevant subject to the project participants/students based on the project objectives.
Job Requirement
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Teach 10 to 20 sessions of 90 minutes per week.
- Prepare lecture notes and session wise, week wise, monthly and annual lessons plan for the relevant subjects taught.
- Cooperation and giving suitable suggestions for the purpose of improving teaching quality and student’s knowledge in the Education Department of the Actionaid organization.
- Responsibility of being as supervisor of the relevant classroom/s.
- Control of students’ attendance sheet and registration of the students’ names.
- Cooperation in provision of the program syllabus based on needs throughout the program.
- Giving suitable suggestions for the purpose of achieving the project objectives and problem-solving to the Education Department of the Actionaid organization.
- Provision of schedule/timetable and grade sheets for the students.
- Make sure to be present in the classrooms on time. (In case of being late, the teacher will be marked absent in the attendance sheet and no salary will be counted for the same session.)
- In case of being absent for three days (sessions) consecutively, the Actionaid organization will have to look for another teacher.
- In case of urgent work, the teacher has to inform the Education Project Coordinator at least 2 hours in advance.
- The teacher has to be present at the training center at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the class and leave the training center at least 30 minutes after the class.
- Attend Education Department meetings.
- The teacher may accomplish any other task given by the Education Project Coordinator/Manager.
