Job Description
Job summary
Two surveyor / data collectors will engage in project activities such as surveying the target project participants, ensuring that the eligibility criteria is considered during the survey and that the project participants are identified and selected as per the selection criteria set by the FSAC Cluster, compiling and sending survey documents to SWRO main office, collecting the NID copies of the project participants that are surveyed, assist with preparation of tokens for project participants, and disseminating printed materials among the communities.
Key Responsibilities
Collecting data of targeted beneficiaries’ households using paper and electronic questionnaires; Collect the required data by filling-up the questionnaire according to the responses of the family members.
Completing the data collection according to the tools and deadlines provided in the work plan.
Ensuring the data is collected according to the list finalized by the Beneficiary selection committee;
Ensuring accurateness of the data and reporting any problems faced during data collection to program staff instantly.
Syncing electronic questionnaires to the main database/server via mobile internet;
Guiding beneficiaries to distribution/registration centers for the sake of SCOPE registration;
Performing any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Upload the data in the system on a daily basis.
Coordinating with relevant technical staff in the development/amendment of assessment tools including questionnaires, collected data and etc.
Any other tasks are given by management
Job Requirement
Job requirement
Bachelor degree in relevant field
2 years’ relevant experience in data collection,
Effective communication with communities/CDCs/household head
Must demonstrate respect for customs, culture and traditions of local communities.
Sound interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.
Ability in data collection and conducting an interview
Honest, proactive, and with good discipline.
