About Company

About ORCD: Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.

Job Description

  • The Provincial Supervisors/extenders will be leading the Survey team in the filed
  • The Provincial Supervisors/extenders will be required frequent visits to target areas and will be reporting to the project manager.
  • The incumbents will be required to prepare weekly plan of their activities that will clearly lay out what he/she wishes to implement in the following week.  This plan will be submitted to Program on the last day of every week.
  • Discuss with the Program and the ORCD Senior Management to have the best understanding of ORCD field supervisory requirements;
  • Have smooth interactions with relevant project managers as well as ORCD Program to gain additional input regarding field supervisory;
  •  Take an active role in supervising projects and programs in the field.  Effectively coordinate and participates in how baseline data and other activities are observed and monitored for future collection and reporting;
  • Support the ORCD management in terms of data collection data entry data compilation data analysis data dissemination and recording of all Project performance and achievements;
  • Monitor and review project implementation regularly to assess and identify challenges and explore practical solutions;
  • Assist the ORCD management in the development of Quarterly and Annual project reports or any other reports required by the project. Assist ORCD M&E unit or any other evaluation agency in conducting evaluations and assessments;
  • Ensures the data collection process is both valid and reliable.  Reports data collection issues and possible problems to ORCD Program Manager in a timely manner;
  • Complete and submit monthly quarterly and final activities results reports to the Program Manager.
  • Prepare and maintain a sound offline data filing of system for all assigned projects enabling easy access to data for program;
  • Patience commitment and an ability to work in difficult circumstances
  • Excellent Report writing and communication skills
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Good reporting skills including report compilation analysis and presentation extremely organized. 
  • Conducting any other activity assigned by Program Manager
 

Job Requirement

  • Be Afghan
  • Graduated from recognized Medical Faculty. BBA , political science or any other relevant qualification
  • Having experience of PM in NNGO or INGO for 3-4 years.
  • Able to speak in Pashto, Dari and English.
  • Knowledge of computer MS office in word, excel, power point, internet and outlook.
  • Able to work in the fast pace environment
  • Able to go to the field.
