About War Child UK: War Child was established in 1993 as a response to the brutal effects of conflict on children during the Balkans war. We are currently operational in Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic. War Child UK started its operation in the Western Region of Afghanistan in 2003 working in three (3) thematic areas namely Education, Protection and Livelihood. War Child UK’s main office is located in Kabul and a sub-office in Herat and Badghis.

Job Description

The Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Collaborate with the whole project team in contributing to the especially administrative, HR and financial activities and proper performing of their relevant policies

Complete all necessary administrative tasks on timely manner, which are included but are not limited to a. providing attendance and time sheet for all project staff, b. record keeping of staff leaves, c. ordering and distributing supply for the project staff on timely manner

Having records of inventory and assets of the project equipment and items in GTC, IQ, IDP Camps and BDG Office.

 

Prepare travel papers, clearance forms and other supporting documents for the key project staff once needed
Help project staff set their objectives and review together with the staff their objectives on quarterly bases.
Help project key staff to provide weekly and monthly plans, review their plans and provide them timely written feedback
Ensure project sits and environments are well equipped, cleaned and organized on regular basis.
Prepare procurement plan on time, review it on weekly basis at the beginning of each week and raise necessary PRs in coordination with the Project Manager
Organize project staff meetings leading by the project manager on monthly basis and record them with quality.

 Provide, submit and liquidate expenses’ documents and their attachments forms with finance department on timely manner.

Monitor and ensure allocated supply and resources are used efficiently by the project team.

Ensures strict adherence to all War Child policies and procedures, including Child Protection policy.

Updates the Project Manager on the progress of project activities related to this job description.

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager on project indicators.

Any other related task as assigned by the line Manager

Job Requirement
