About Organization of Human Welfare (OHW): The Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) is a non-governmental organization and is a non-political, not-for-profit, and impartial organization with no bias towards a particular religion, ethnicity, or political belief. It has its own independent legal status and entity. OHW is operating since 2007 in the country with active membership with the national clusters and international donor agencies in Afghanistan including SWABAC, ACBAR, AICS, BAAG, AWN and most of the national and international Clusters operates based in Afghanistan.
Job Description
Job Description:
- To assist the Community facilitator officer in preparing work plans for the daily, weekly and monthly plan,
- To conduct project promotion, communication and community facilitator campaigns in project districts, in close coordination with the with Village, District, Provincial; including through notices, leaflets and local radio;
- To introduce the project objectives and services to prospective community groups and enterprises in mountain districts, collaborating with Village, District and Provincial.
- To identify district and village level interest groups, cooperatives and enterprises involved in the prioritized value chains, and strengthen their organizational capacity;
- To provide inputs into the database of the interest groups, with details of their location, number, agriculture and agribusiness, also sex and ethnicity;
- assist business groups and local enterprises to complete process due diligence requirements for agribusiness grant applications (including evidence of landownership, environmental management plan, and gender and social inclusion), and provide pre-screening of same for small, remote and disadvantaged group enterprises, to facilitate communication and correspondence regarding their applications for Agribusiness Grants and implementation of business plans.
- To monitor and assist grantees to meet Grant Agreement OHW conditions and reporting requirements
- To assist Educational activities in the preparation and in conducting training workshops for community.
- Develop partnerships with religious groups, traditional leaders, teachers, traders, and other member’s community as well as civil society organizations to communicate the humanitarian response goals, solicit their involvement in its implementation, and garner their feedback on the appropriateness of the response.
- Monitor and evaluate activities on the basis of applied communication research.
Job Requirement
Job Requirements:
• Education: 12th class graduated, 14th will preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in relevant filed
• Language: Dari and Pashto is required
