Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing CFS services in the CFSs.
• Assists in developing and maintaining an environment that promotes physical, social and emotional development through arts, crafts, games and other child friendly activities.
• Identify vulnerable children for PSS support through static and mobile services.
• Assist in identification and refer of children in need of case management to CP actors on a regular basis.
• Design and implement recreational and psychosocial support (PSS) activities, actively involving children (with a strong focus on child’s specific needs and vulnerabilities).
• Ensure that children get all necessary support during the activities and that rules and discipline are set up in a positive and constructive way.
• Prepare activities plan/schedule and arrange materials needed for the activities.
• Collect information (attendance sheets, questionnaires, etc.) and report identified cases of children with specific needs/extremely vulnerable to the Psychosocial Officer.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of the children at the CFS and as well as the environment
• Ensure that all games and equipment are available and counted at the end of the day and ensure children are using the games and equipment in a proper way and rotation system.
• Play a vital role in setting up and running recreational activities for children using various individual and team games, and storytelling enabling access to information, child protection messages.
• Ensure child safeguarding checklists is followed in the in the child friendly space.
• Support children to understand the feedback mechanism and use it to provide their feedback in confidential and safe manner and ensure responses are provided to children on timely basis.
