Job Description

The primary responsibility of the CFO is to prepare and implement financial strategy, policies and procedures and financial controls framework in order to ensure the achievement of institution wise financial objectives, controls and financial stability. The person will ensure internal controls are 
effectively in place and functional. He will also ensure compliance with applicable rules and 
regulation. This job reports to the CEO and the incumbent shall function in accordance with the applicable policies and regulations. 

Job Requirement

1.    As member of senior management, CFO shall assist and report to the CEO
(a)    Providing strategic direction to the company through strategy formulation, decision making, forecast/budgeting and its fully implementation and monitoring
(b)    Establishing and implementing internal controls and ensuring efficient and effective
financial operations as per standards
2.    Ensure that Financial and Accounting policies and procedures are in accordance with global
standards and complying with risk management and internal controls
3.    Take charge of Finance and Accounts. Ensure that all accounting records are properly and timely maintained, reporting cycles and other associated engagements are successfully performed in an effective and timely manner and as per the Company requirements
4.    Finalize periodic and annual financial reports (where required)
5.    Prepare financial projections and budgets in line with business plan and get these approved
from the Management (CEO)
6.    Ensure implementation of proper accounting system for bookkeeping, operational
support/computerized system as per best industry practices
7.    Monitoring and controlling all financial activities/transactions on daily basis
(a)    Accounts Payables and Receivables
(b)    Cash payments/expenditures
(c)    Currency exchange
(d)    Advances, pre-payments and others
(e)    Proper vouchers. Quotation checking
8.    Store/Inventory Management
(a)    Monitoring Inventory (raw materials, finished goods) in and out flow
(b)    Monthly stock taking and reconciliation
9.    Customers order tracking
(a)    Follow up of customers' orders
(b)    Make sure customer's ledger balance before releasing the stock (order)

c) Monitoring all dispatching -barnamas, tracking of vehicles to its destination properly

10.    Assist in staff training, their capacity building and professionalism
11.    Co-Ordinate with the Management- CEO, in all financial matters
12.    Assist in implementing Performance Management system to recognize and reward good performance and promote a culture of accountability and merit
13.    Plan, assign and review work of staff to ensure that Company objectives and requirements are met.
14.    Hire, train, develop and manage FINANCE DEPT staff to ensure that a qualified staff exists to meet with the Company objectives

 S. Work with the wider senior management team to interact with all departments to enhance

better working environment and to streamline each and every task related and inter connected with the FINANCE department- the ultimate purpose is to achieve the Company entire goals and objectives 

16.    Perform any other task assigned by the CEO
17.    Follow up of the Company policies, rules and regulation assign by the CEO
