Job Description

Role Summary: 

 TOR / Job description for facultative course teachers

The Project Coordinator is a senior management post, working directly with the Project Manager to provide the development, coordination and quality control of the training centres in the Project in Kabul / Herat/ and Bamyan in accordance with the core values and principles of the organization and the Country Strategic Plan.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the below tasks:

  • Assist the Project Manager in managing the Project being implemented in Heart / Bamyan / Kabul, providing technical, logistical and administrative support as required.
  • Provide technical and coordination support to Project Officers in the development and implementation of Project/project activities, as agreed with the Project Manager. Support the project teams to develop and revise strategic plans to align with the country strategy.
  • Assume primary responsibility for monitoring performance and budget utilization, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports and collecting and providing information at the request of M&E or the back-donor, with the support of an M&E Officer and the Project Manager.
  • Monitoring of progress and budget utilization of the project as agreed with the Project Manager.
  • Assume primary responsibility for managing the annual Participatory Review and Reflection Process, and the subsequent preparation of Project plans for the coming year, in accordance with AAA guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of project proposals in accordance with the CSP and donor guidelines, including the facilitation of inputs from the field.
  • In collaboration with the Project Manager, ensure enquiries from donors are responded to promptly and that good quality project reports are prepared and submitted on time. 
  • In consultation with the Project Manager, organize and facilitate meetings and workshops with relevant staff to guide Project direction and enhance Project performance.
  • Undertake regular visits to field and project sites to support implementation, validate monitoring reports and assess capacity needs of field staff.
  • Coordinate with target schools and set the time of course with students and head of school
  • Prepare Weekly, Monthly Educational plan based on approved educational source
  • To ensure all education document, Equipment and material  are prepared 
  • Develop pre and post-test questioner and apply it in the course
  • Manage the facultative class and filling the student’s attendance sheet on daily bases 
  • Organize tentative Kankor exam to instruct the students for entrance to National Kankor Exam
  • Develop action plan to cover the target and objective
  • Respect educational disciplinary
  • Respect AAA policies (SHEA policy, Child safeguarding and child protection)
  • Prepare monthly progress report and submit to related department
