Job Description
- Job Purpose
Responsible for all activities in Transitional Center under HPD within all components in Northern Provinces.
- Supporting the center manager and social organizers in enrolment of the vulnerable children in the center.
- Conducting placement test and planning the extra curriculum courses
- Conducting classes in daily bases
- Measuring the learning rates and reporting students attendance in weekly and monthly bases
- Helping the center manager in preparing the transportation payment sheets and making sure all the students are paid well
- Making sure the learning process is smoothly going well.
- Supporting the social organizers, PSS doctor and Advocacy & Referral officers in identification, registration and support of vulnerable children and their families.
- Active participations in ToT’s and trainings
- Close coordination with other teachers and other staff in the center
- Supporting M&E team monitoring classes and making sure all the criteria and responsibilities are done well and in time
- Planning extra curriculum classes and provision and distribution of all essential material
- Close coordination with authorities in district level
- Conducting parents meeting
- Supporting the center manager in establishment of the parents Shuras in center level and conducting monthly meeting discussing hot issues
- Organizing and conducting monthly and weekly exams and tests for measuring of learning rates
- Planning and conducting sport and recreational activities in center level
- Making sure all the measures in kitchen and Food supply is managed well in accordance with the criteria
- Prepares and share weekly and monthly reports to line manager
- Responsible in visibility of the program in center and district level according to donor and ACTED criteria
- Any other task given by line manager
Job Requirement
- Female candidates with ability to participate in ToT’s develop learning material and manuals and conduct classes
- Able to prepare extra curriculum material for learning
- work in field with community and able to travel in districts of the province working in
- Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited university – related to medical or any other related fields
- Minimum of 2 years’ working experience with NGO’s and organization
- Able to work in very critical situation
- Able to work with current government situations
- Well computer and internet skills
- Able to work on and create success stories from any of the well done activities in field
- Ability to create and maintain relation with other partners and organizations for children referrals
- Experience in working with community and community mobilization
- Familiarity with cultures of different Afghan communities
- Very good interpersonal communication skills
- Very good teaching/lecturing skills
- Must be computer literate and familiar with basic computer software including MS Office and internet use
- Report writing skills
