Job Description
- Support the M&E team in the timely and effective implementation of the field work of the Labour Market Assessment in line with workplan and the stated objectives,
- Identify, coordinate, and set time for interview with the identified entrepreneurs in the market,
- Contact individuals by telephone or in person and explain the purpose of the interview,
- Conduct individual survey with the identified entrepreneurs, collect the data both quantitative and qualitative in nature using pre-designed Labour Market Assessment questionnaires,
- Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with the identified entrepreneurs; note, record, and transcribe the discussions taken place during the FGDs,
- Ensure that all information relevant to the assessment and according to the pre-designed assessment forms is collected in a timely manner and is consistent with the information required for Labour Market Assessment,
- Check information gathered for completeness and accuracy,
- Undertake regular data collection from the field pertaining to the Labour Market Assessment and verify the collected data, using the triangulation approach,
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Notes:
The appointment is subject to funding confirmation.
Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment, accreditation, any residency or visa requirements, and security clearances.
Job Requirement
- University degree or equivalent diploma in Social Sciences, Development, Information Management, or any other related field.
- One year or more of professional experience with an international organization in Afghanistan in the field of professional survey and/or \monitoring and evaluation.
SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, etc.) is required; advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and data analysis in Excel is an added advantage,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Pashto or Dari is required,
- familiarity with M&E standards and practices of the UN is an added advantage,
- Strong multi-task prioritization, organizational, coordination and time management skills.
- Familiarity with skills development activities and labour force market demand.

- Dari or Pashto– required
- English – desirable
