About EQUALITY for Peace and Development(EPD): EQUALITY for Peace and Development Organisation (EPDO) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization, founded in early 2010. EPDO supports local CSOs and networks with small-scale grants to enable them to identify the root causes of the problems and builds their capacity to be the front face in representing the communities in the development, human rights, peacebuilding, and democratic processes of the country. The proposed project aims to create a multi-stakeholder grievance-handling platform with local, national, and international stakeholders’ representatives, local leaders, religious leaders, CSOs, women, and youths in target locations to bring accessible, predictable, equitable, transparent response to grievances.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support and work closely with the project manager to take responsibility for the overall project and operations in his/her district area
- Support the project manager to prepare and submit narrative reports and work plans
- Support the project manager to organize monthly monitoring and supervision visit plans
- Support the assessment of the current types of grievance
- Establish a multi-stakeholder grievance handling platform
- Participate and lead the logistical items of training organized by the project in the province
- Supervise facilitators training at the district level
- Conduct field visits of the project activities based on the monthly plan in collaboration with the project manager
- Perform any other task assigned by the project manager

Kabul – Sorobi
Herat – Shindand and Ghoryan
Balkh – Balkh and Dawlatabad
Job Requirement
- University degree with at least two years of relevant work experience
- Good English writing and speaking knowledge, and capability to operate a computer
- Fluency in the two main Afghan languages, Pashto & Dari (writing, speaking, and comprehension)
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
