About Women Activities & Social Services Association (WASSA): The Women’s Activities and Social Services Association (WASSA) was established in 2002 as Afghanistan's first women’s independent organization. WASSA aims to promote the women’s equal participation in socio-economic sectors and support the current humanitarian crisis by providing emergency humanitarian and livelihood assistance to vulnerable households, especially women.
Job Description
The Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Conducting field visits, household assessment and mapping of the most at risk area with close coordination of the WASSA program team and the Cash and Voucher officer to Identify and select the most vulnerable households for project intervention in Herat and Ghor.
- Will do selection, verification and enter the beneficiaries in KOBO.
- Undertake negotiations with the selected financial service provider for the establishment of a cash delivery mechanism for the provision of cash assistance to target beneficiaries.
- Establish close coordination with the stakeholders particularly community elders and leaders, identify beneficiaries and support them through the distribution of cash to target beneficiaries.
- Support the preparation phase and roll-out of the OSF cash delivery mechanism.
- Support the design of the cash and voucher programme guidelines and procedures, including SOPs; and verify beneficiaries for cash distribution in targeted locations.
- Organize project planning missions, meetings and briefing sessions;
- Assess project performance including utilization of resources and achievement of planned targets.
- Monitor cooperating partners and financial service provider compliance with programme guidelines;
- Finalize and maintain detailed beneficiary lists for cash and vouchers;
- Conduct Post Distribution Monitoring and data collection
- Support and adapt the existing monitoring system for cash and vouchers;
- Perform other related duties as required
Job Requirement
- Have bachelor degree in relevant field
- 2-3 years’ experience in community mobilization and cash and voucher project;
- Have enough child protection in emergencies knowledge
- Good Computer Skill
- Good local language Skills
- Excellent Communication, coordination, skills
- Good report writing and presentation skills
- Excellent local communication and facilitation skills (oral and written).
