Job Description
Job Summary:
The community mobilizers are frontline workers to take lead in engagement with community and stakeholders. Also to get involved in beneficiary selection, tracings of the community, in a transparent and accountable way.

Responsibilities and Tasks
Job Responsibilities :
- Mobilize and sensitize communities on program activities and introduce the project to village and district level.
- Raise awareness of communities regarding the program and the inputs.
- Be the first contact with district level authorities and community and community leaders.
- Support and identify the beneficiaries on predefined criteria with transparency.
- Ensure inclusion of most vulnerable in program especially women, widow, elderly, Persons with Disability, Orphans and other vulnerable groups.
- Provide the input and other works related trainings to the beneficiaries at village level.
- Ensure that beneficiaries are sensitised to use the inputs in appropriate way
- Assess training needs of the beneficiaries and training accordingly with support from line manager.
- Facilitate and support in the distribution of inputs at community/district or any other pre identified location.
- Participate in conducting assessments, beneficiary selection, monitoring and Post Distribution Monitoring.
- Travel to the project locations to ensure that project activities are going as per plan and as per donor requirements.
- Any other official tasks given by line manager.
Job Specification
Education:
- 12 grade graduates at minimum, bachelor degree is highly desirable.
Experience:
1-3 years’ experience in social mobilization, trainings, and social work with involvement in emergency/livelihood program.
Technical Skills:
- Particular experience in community mobilization.
- Team player with high level of facilitation skill.
- Ability to work hard and long, self-driven
- Hard worker under the high-pressure situation.
Number of Jobs:
