The National Teachers Elected Council of Afghanistan is a union and social body of teachers in Afghanistan, is registered with the Ministry of Justice and is a member of the Education International Organization. It is practically active in 31 provinces of Afghanistan and has representative offices in the mentioned provinces..

Job Description

1 – Keeping accurate record for all daily transaction.

2 – Preparing balance sheet.

3 – Processing invoices.

4 – Record account payable and receivable.

5 – Update internal system with financial data.

6 – Prepare monthly- quarterly and annual financial report.

7 – Reconcile bank statements.

8 – Participate in financial audits.

9 – Track bank deposit and payments.

10 – Assist with budget preparation.

11 – review and implement financial policies.

12 – Supervision of over buy and sales and any kind of financial affairs.

13 – Record keeping and maintenance of office assets.

14 – Record of NTEC members.

15 – Prepare annual budget draft for executive board.

16 – Regularly updating NTEC website by adding and editing the contents of the website.

17 – Regularly processing all relevant financial documents of the board meeting, general assembly, conferences and training.

18 – Actively participated in NTEC events, workshops and trainings.

Job Requirement

1- 3 Years of relevent experience in finance/accounting.

2- Good working knowledge of QuickBooks.

3- To reconcile and cross-check financial data in financial software QuickBooks, run complex financial reports, and prepare basic management information records.

4- To analyze & review accounting transactions and ensure their completeness and accuracy

5- Prepare and consolidate monthly and annual financial reports and ensuring it is complete, accurate, and produced on a time.

6- Good organizational skills and ability to work effectively.

7- Experience of planning, reporting and budgeting.

8- To perform any other activity as directed by supervisor.
