Job Description

We have built strong background in Packaging industry, we have now created a strong presence in Afghanistan industry.
Production managers ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
Planning and organizing production schedules, in coordination with Marketing Department regarding customer order and categorized customers in different scheme of VIP/VVIP and close relationship with design Department in aspect of color matching and size of carton box, Making Diy & polymer making then it’s production manager responsibilities, to follow up with printing the carton boxes in offset Machine, flexo or etc. (3 ply, 5 ply or 7 ply).
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute the production schedule including human and material resources
2. Manage manufacturing process to ensure product is delivered on time Without any interruption
3. Managing the raw material inventory levels as per the production schedule planning on daily basis
4. Managing Quality controls through various operators.
5. Strictly sticking to delivery schedules of the customers and having a continuous follow up with the customers.
6. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
7. Monitor production to resolve issues
8. Enforce health and safety precautions
9. Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
10. Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
11. Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
12. Ensure output meets quality standards
13. Production manager is responsible to check all machine under his supervision to run properly.
14. Production manager is responsible to train the machine operators of usage of machine and keep it very safe and cleaning day to day
15. Production Manager is responsible to report any damages of machine, not working properly or any technical issues on time.
16. He is responsible to train new labor force how to avoid of injury and how to protect their self from machine
17. Keep all machinery very safe and clean day to day reports any technical issue on time printing the carton box with standard quality and coordinating with Marketing & Design Departments closely
18. Finish goods should be accurately handover to warehouse responsible person
19. Conduct performance evaluation of the corrugation staff and provide them regular feed-back in order to improve staff’s technical skills and capabilities.
20. To manage all production activity such as daily production report, the shift of labor force and handling labor’s over time, Leaves etc.
21. Planning and control overall production, incoming inspection of material.
22. Providing day to day production planning.
23. Improved packaging related Engineering changes to meet customer requirements and improve production efficiency.
24. Conducted testing to ensure the high quality of the products produced in the plant.
25. Ensure product integrity and manufacturing capabilities of the Baheer group.
26. Reviewed production and operation reports of automatic plant
27. Collected and analyzed data to validate new packaging concept, creativity and initiative.
Other job-related tasks as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirement
· Bachelor in business Administration or graduated from Technical related field
· More than 8 years’ work experience in the packaging industry.
· Proven experience in production filed especially in Packaging or printing press
· Being flexible regarding working hours.
· Ability to manage high volume manufacturing activities.
· Ability to increase production efficiency with the implementation of new systems and procedures.
· Ability to provide technical and non-technical support to the production team.
· Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to increase teamwork and achieve a result.
· Strong leadership and teamwork attributes.
· Computer skills: Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Deep knowledge of production management
· Needs to be a leader, a problem-solver and be goal-oriented.
· Cooperative and team-working skills
· Persuasiveness and disciplined.
