About CRDSA: Coordination of Rehabilitation and Development Services for Afghanistan (CRDSA) is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian and non-political humanitarian organization that was established in 2002 by a team of Afghan volunteers interested in serving afghan vulnerable people. CRDSA is providing services for Afghan people in sectors of Sustainable Livelihoods, Civil Society Strengthening, Returnees/IDPs Re-integration and Protection and Human Rights Promotion. Presently, CRDSA is operating in 7 provinces of Afghanistan including Herat, Kabul, Farah, Ghor, Nimrooz, Urozgan and Badghis.
Job Description
Job Responsibilites:
- Financial and administrative oversight of the project.
- Draft and update monthly and quarterly project work plans
- Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of the Project and implementation of recommendations.
- Closely monitor project activities against the desired outputs/results and advise the CRDSA program manager accordingly.
- Ensure effective and timely coordination with Consortium members/project partners.
- Create and maintain appropriate coordination with the European Commission as donor and project stakeholders, CSOs, Local Shoras and community members.
- Ensure the implementation of decisions made by organization management team.
- Prepare monthly progress updates, quarterly and annual project reports for the Project, as well as other information as may be requested;
- Monitors progress against milestones and deadlines
- Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.
- Provide technical input to the project team and Consortium members in order to direct their activities towards project goals/objectives.
- Add value to the work of Consortium members and consult with international experts through CAID.
- Judgment: Ability to identify key issues in a complex situation and comes to hear of the problem quickly.
- Supervise project staff.
- Oversee professional and technical trainings to project team, Consortium members, the local Judiciary departments/institutions staff, Shora members and CSO coalition.
- Assist in provision of the training materials.
- Facilitate kick off and inception workshop, annual meeting of consortium members when and as planned.
- Oversee the legal awareness activities (TV & radio messages) to the target project areas by CRDSA and or other consortium members.
- Develop appropriate legal aid service provision mechanism for defense attorneys under project target areas.
- Oversee provision of legal advice with extensive outreach to rural areas.
- Develop appropriate social service provision mechanism for social mobilizers under project target areas.
- Oversee implementation of live street theatres.
- Assist in establishments of 400 rural and urban community based human rights committees.
- Facilitate effective communication between actors of formal and informal justice systems.
- Facilitate the scope of the performance assessment system of AGO based on clear methodology.
- Oversee the baseline assessment and subsequent assessments.
- Oversee the establishment of 8 CSO coalitions at project target areas.
- Oversee the evidence based advocacy by established CSO coalitions.
- Facilitate provision of sub grants for CSO coalition.
- Oversee regular meetings of traditional villages’ leaders
- Track project resource to meet the time and budget requirements by project donor.

Job Requirement
- University Degree in Law/ Sharia
- Minimum of 3 years of experiences of working in the area of design, project management, capacity development and implementation of projects; with national and/or international organizations.
- Experience of working with formal/informal justice systems is an asset
- Proficiency in English, with excellent writing skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, access, power point)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
- Report writing skills
- Understanding of Pashto language is preferable
