About AWEC: AWEC is a non-political, non-profit, woman-headed national organization established in 1991 by a group of educated Afghan women in exile, who rallied together to address the lack of facilities for Afghan refugees in Islamabad and eventually Peshawar, in Pakistan. AWEC has always been involved in advocacy and awareness-raising for women and children’s rights while providing services to those who frequently fall through safety nets. In recent years, one of AWEC’s core activities has been to support women through mobilizing Afghans, from local communities to political elites, towards the goal of reducing and eventually eliminating violence against women. Job Description

Position Objective
To distribute dignity kits to the most eligible people in Balkh (Dehdadi, Kholm&Nahr-e-shahi), Herat (Guzara,Injil&Karokh) Nangarhar (Surkhroad, Khewa&Behsud)Paktia (Ahmadaba, Said Karam, &Mirzaki) and Kandahar (Dand, Daman, &Arghandab and part of Helmand participants) Provinces – Couple
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with local related government and sectors
- Create sustainable relationship with target communities
- Conduct assessment and prepare themost eligible list
- Actively take part in the planning and development of comprehensive distribution tools and guidance
- Plan, organize, and lead actively kit distribution
- Distribute dignity kits to the most eligible people
- Participate actively in the development of accurate lists of eligible beneficiaries
- Collect clear and concise reports of the number of beneficiaries distributed kits
- Develop trust, tolerance, and cooperation among community members
- Provide regular updates from the field to the Provincial Coordinator and Project Manager
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
12 Grade, Bachelor degree is preferred
Experience& Skills:
- At least 1to 2years work experience in relevant field
- Strong Interpersonal & communication skills
- Knowledge of Dari, Pashto and English, written and spoken
- Computer skill in MS. Office packages
- Familiar with planning, and prioritizing tasks
- Familiar with the target provinces and districts
- Honest, active and well mannered
