Job Description
The Security Guard position is a full-time job that is responsible for guarding PARSA buildings during day and night. Regular hours of work are as scheduled for 24 hours between (6:00 am to 6:00 am (other day)) shift based four days/ week.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. Essential job duties include the following:
- Keeping PARSA buildings secure at day and night (during shift)
- Maintaining of office equipment, building and surrounding lead
- Being awake and be aware of all security related situations
- Reporting any problems or suspicious activity immediately to Security Manager during day and night
- Keeping unauthorized visitors off PARSA property at day and night
- Getting permission from the Security Manager for personnel visitors staying over a half an hour
- Taking care of staff and visitors that are spending the day at the facility as directed by Security Manager
- Having an accurate data record of daily visitors
- Avoiding entrance of armed men inside the PARSA compound
- Reporting all insurgency incidents to Security Manager
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Baccalaureate Degree is preferred
- At least one-year experience in related field with good work record
- Prior experience with Military or Police an advantage
- Experience in security and safety with national or international NGOs, AKDN and UN agencies preferred
- Certification in security and safety training from INSO, UN, AKDN or any recognized security agency would be preferred
