Job Description
- Make cash payment/ Receipts with the specified business hours.
- Record such payment and receipt dully in the Micro banker software.
- Ensure each payment is properly documented and processed before the actual payment or receipts are made.
- Request cash replenishment as required to ensure cash availability responds to the daily cash need of the branch.
- Ensure the available cash in the safe remains within the limits defined in IIFC Group financial policy.
- Ensure the safe is installed and placed properly as per the internal control requirements stipulated in the financial guidelines of the IIFC Group.
- Prepare asset, liability and other account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensure all the expenses bills are with name branches
- Reconciles accounting discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Ensuring that the borrower loan file is completed before the disbursement.
- Making payment to the borrower him/her self who applied for the loan.
- Processing/ Check the payroll send by IIFC Group Head office.
- Preparing monthly expected expenses.
- Securing financial information by completing data base backups
- Maintaining customers confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Providing financial information to management by preparing reports
- Preparing payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
- Managing all accounting transactions
- Maintaining/ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensuring timely invoice payment.
- Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger (Preparing Monthly bank Reconciliation Statement)
- Examining expenses submitted by employees
- Updating internal database (e.g. record sick leave, advances etc.)
- Keeping all branch’s financial records
- Arranging travel accommodations and process expense forms
- Developing and maintain a filling system
- Managing/ Maintains fixed asset register
- Effectively monitor and manage branch’s asset
- Implementing procurement cycle for purchasing of fixed asset at branch level.
- Sending daily cash count sheet along with branch FTB to Finance Manager.
- Assisting Finance Manager for preparing Annual budget.
- Ensuring that physical cash is match with cash in vault record of micro banker. In case negligent He/ She will be responsible for paying the shortage.
- Any other task given by supervisor
Job Requirement
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Three years of related experience, including training in (any field).
- Thorough knowledge of NGO, Private firms, corporate banking, cooperative, credit unions and general operations. (any of those)
- Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft office suite
- Excellent verbal written and analytical skills.
- Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting.
Personality Synopsis:
- Strong communication skills both oral & written and ability to practice both downward and upward communication
- Ability to work under pressure and limited supervision.
- Ability to handle and solve tasks politely and professionally.
