Visit www.ctg.org to find out more Background: Under the direct supervision of the Protection Assistant in Kabul and overall supervision of the Protection Officer and Head of Sub-Office, the Protection Monitoring and Case Management Worker will be responsible for:

Job Description

  1. Assist Protection Assistant with day to day coordination of the financial, procurement, logistics and administrative, out side company like Afghan winner aspects of protection projects, working closely with IOM’s Resource Management Unit (including finance and procurement)
  2. Work with protection field staff to prepare procurement plans, monitor warehouse stock, conduct distributions and prepare financial and procurement documentations of TAs, PRs, RFPs, timesheets, payment documents assigning of laptops to staff and following up of staff ID cards.
  3. Keep track of the project expenses and procurement in IOM’s system  . Following up on monthly basis the GRN, log books of field vehicles and submitting to logistic.
  4. Assist Protection Assistant in ensuring all project records, financial and procurement records are updated and filed
  5. Assist Protection Assistant in ensuring all protection programming meets IOM’s internal financial, administrative, and procurement procedures, as well as specific donor requirements.
  6. Support the Protection Office to establish or modify processes to ensure compliance with IOM and donor regulations
  7. Work with the Resource Management Unit on protection financial documents and develop a tracking system for protection staff annual leave balances and requests and update the protection unit’s filing system for current and new projects.
  8. Any other tasks as assigned by Line Manager or the program officer/program manager

Note:

  • Since the duty station is Kabul province- The incumbents should be from and/or currently living in the province.
  • The appointment is subject to funding confirmation.

Job Requirement

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, or other relevant area.
  • At least 3 years programme experience with an International Organization.
  • Experience managing financial, administrative and procurement components of large humanitarian grants
  • Experience with relevant donor regulations
  • Experience in monitoring compliance with financial, administrative and procurement rules
  • Experience in monitoring distribution of humanitarian aid
  • Experience preparing financial reports

VI. Languages:

  • Dari – Fluent
  • Pashto – Fluency preferred
  • English– Fluent
  • Other local languages
