The organization works in Collaboration with other line Ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and donor communities. The mandate of JACK is to improve lives of the people we touch through our programs. Job Description

  • Plan and follow successful delivery of the COVID-19 response project activities in accordance with the project objectives;
  • Effectively communicate with donor, MoPH and other stakeholders to create supportive environment at line department and community level for effective implementation of project planned activities;
  • Lead timely happening project planned procurements in coordination with related departments within the organization;
  • Conduct visits to project implementation sites with focus on the smooth implementation of quality services;
  • Liaise with program director managers to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery;
  • Ensure that the program operate within the approved budget;
  • Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency;
  • Write monthly and quarterly progress reports on the program for management and donor and Providing week and monthly update to the cluster;
  • Communicate with funders as outlined in funding agreements;
  • Design prepare and review health training material for legal coordinator and awareness of beneficiaries regarding covid-19;
  • Conduct and evaluate needs assessment for the training programs;
  • Train medical staff trainers project staff and project beneficiaries;
  • Ensure that the flow of information to and from JACK is relevant to the aid community and accommodate for changes in the environment;
  • Moderate Advocacy Committees Meetings and events;
  • Ensure adequate communication with all local Partners as well as their training and capacity development;
  • Tracking M&E indicators, project progress, and data collection during the project period;
  • Translate texts and presentations from National languages (Dari and Pashto) into English and vice versa;
  • Editing and translating training and campaign materials;
  • In consultation with the Senior Management Team recruit interview and select well-qualified program staff as per project need;
  • Monitor progress of training and public awareness workshops conducted and Trainers;
  • Ensure all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational and cluster standards;
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks.

Job Requirement

  • Graduated From Recognize Medical University
  • Effective communication skills with fluency in English Persian and Pashto
  • At least 3 years of proven experience of working with UNOCHA or UN in implementation of health and emergency projects. 
  • Strong building relationship skills with MOPH PPHD and health project implication organizer and stakeholders
  • High communication skills to establish relationship with body coordinations
  • Good in report writing and required computer skills (MS office)
  • Able to visit to provinces.
