Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Act according to IMC organization policies and procedures.
- Develop spirit of cooperation and understanding among members of program.
- Responsible for planning, implementation, supervision and monitoring the nutrition/eye car component related activities in all HFs.
- To understand the verification of HF performance system and its importance for quality improvement and staff salary adjustment and payments.
- Responsible for monitoring and verification of data in Nutrition related indicators.
- Responsible for implementation and follow up of nutrition/eye car in HFs and CBHC.
- Compile the nutrition reports, review, analyze and take appropriate action and give feedback to HFs& HP.
- Support integration of nutritional activities and strengthening BPHS services regarding prevention and treatment of malnutrition (ex. IEC messages, vitamin A supplementation, maternal nutrition, infant and young child feeding, control of diarrheal diseases, micronutrient deficiency disease referral and treatment, moderate and severe malnutrition referral and treatment etc. )
- Support implementation of complementary provincial interventions if applicable
- Monitor and support hospital-based Therapeutic Feeding Units for treatment of severe malnutrition according to MoPH Public Nutrition Guidelines and Supplementary Feeding Programs.
- Monitor and support community-based Management Acute Malnutrition for treatment of acute malnutrition according to MoPH Public Nutrition Guidelines and salt iodization program.
- Promote and support optimal infant and young child feeding and care practices
- Conduct trainings of Supplementary Feeding Programs, Hospital based Management and Treatment of Severe Malnutrition.
- Implement and supervise eye care service in BPHS HFs and CBHC program.
- Responsible for management of food supplies, recording and reporting system.
- Do whatever related job, is delegated by the Project manager.

- Respect and follow International Medical Corps Safeguarding policy and never neglect, abuse, harm and exploit children, young people, and adult at risk,
- Report any actual or suspicious harm to the children and vulnerable adult caused by staff and program.
Job Requirement
The position requirement:
- The candidate will be graduated from recognized medical faculty
- The candidate will have three-year experience in in the nutrition officer position
- The candidate will have understating of local language and will be able to prepare visit report in English
- The candidate will have good human, technical and conceptual skill
