About RHDO: Relief Humanitarian and Development Organization (RHDO) is a nongovernmental, non- religious, non-political, non-profit and non-military organization, working for development of Afghanistan through implementation of health, community development and capacity development/research projects was established in February 2014 and is registered with the Ministry of Economics under registration No 3121. is also registered in Ministry of Public health under registration # 504. is registered in Ministry of Women affairs under registration # 751 aims to contribute to the development of Afghanistan through provision of developmental and humanitarian services in public health, training and capacity building of Afghans in healthcare disciplines and skills starts to realize its vision through implementable, context-specific, technically sound and practically achievable approaches. These approaches are: (1) to design and implement the community development programs; (2) to provide primary and secondary health services according to the standards of the MOPH; and (3) to build capacities and skills of ordinary Afghanistan residences and professional of health sector.
Job Description
- Coordinate all the project activities with RHDO management and Mobile Health and Nutrition team project manager.
- Coordinate the project progress and constraints with RHDO Management team and submit daily updates with project focal point at main office.
- Overall monitoring of the project in term of financial management and technical progress made against set indicators.
- Ensure establishment of a close working relationship and coordination with Unicef, government, other organizations for program implementation and management.
- Prepare work plan, log frame and time lines.
- Supervise and monitor (in coordination with M&E department) the MHNTs project activities in the provincial level.
- Coordinate, Plan, organize and evaluate the trainings (basic and refreshers) develop by Unicef team according to the project proposal.
- Attending the internal and external meetings (staff, PHCC, Unicef coordination and Sub contractors).
- Participate and assist in developing strategic plans, project documents and proposals.
- Monitoring the project activities and sharing feedback with team and report to the MHNTS project focal point in main office of RHDO.
- Ensure that all activities are delivered according to original plans and quality standards.
- Follow up of RHDO established policies, procedures and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative works/ performance.
- Identify and make decision to solve immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives and provide report to immediate supervisor.
- Provide technical assistance to provincial team to support the achievement of the Project goals and objectives, including planning, reporting, community-based involvement care, monitoring and evaluation, and achieving Mobile Health and Nutrition Team related targets.
Job Requirement
Graduate from a Medical University (MD Degree is essential)/MPH is highly preferable.
At least three years of work experience in BPHS and EPHS.
Extensive experience in project controlling, project implementation, target achievement and Monitoring of Health Services in BPHS/EPHS.
Computer program knowledge and good English language skills both speaking and writing.
Good communication skill and team work capacity.
Ability of travel to field for supervision of team.
