Job Description
- Under the guidance of the Provincial Director/Managers in Zabul, Paktia and Ghazni the project officer will have the overall responsibility of effective and efficient management of UNFPA funded SRH Mobile Health Teams (MHTs) in targeted districts
- Conduct monthly supervision visits to MHTs service delivery point in the villages
- Meeting regularly with beneficiaries, community leaders and health shuras to ensure program effectiveness and community awareness on project services;
- Liaise with the provincial health directorate, NGOs and other stockholders at the district and provincial level to ensure close coordination of humanitarian responses to effected population
- Write monthly and quarterly and ad hoc progress reports on the program for management and donor and Providing week and monthly update to the cluster
- Ensure that systems and procedures are adopted and implemented that satisfy AADA and donor compliance requirements including timely reporting and that project is managed within overall program frameworks, are transparent and accountable to beneficiaries
- Identify and report immediately any program or administrative problems that may interfere in achieving program objectives;
Lead, manage and motivate a team, ensuring that they have clear objectives and receive meaningful feedback on their performance.
Job Requirement
- Medical Doctors or Bachelor in Public Health with at least two-year experience in health/nutrition project management.
- Fluency in written and spoken local language;
- Having skills in computer applications such as Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Word.
- Ability and willingness to travel to rural locations;
- Knowledge of local environments;
