Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To organize, train, and supervise the team of GBV Project Social Workers.
  • Visiting regularly communities that are under her responsibility.
  • To support, supervise, and give consistency to the health promotion and education in the mentioned project, while considering the different target population and cultural context, specific of each context.
  • Flexibility and availability in case of emergency response.
  • Shortly brief awareness on dignity hygiene.
  • Distributing of hygiene kits.
  • Have a good behavior with all office Staff, hospital Staff and beneficiaries.
  • Arranging healthy coordination meeting with hospital personals. 
  • The health Promoters will be required to prepare a monthly plan of their activities that will clearly lay out what she wishes to implement in the following month.  This plan will be submitted to Project Manager in the last week of every month.
  • Prepare the report and submit it to the Project Manager, on a weekly and monthly basis, the activities conducted by her while highlighting achievements, current constraints and to prepare a monthly plan of their activities that will clearly lay out what she wishes to implement in the following month.
  • This plan will be submitted to Project Manager in the last week of every month
  • To be available to cover for unplanned important gaps at project level.
  • In general, to identify and report to the Project Manager the, difficulties or strength points of the Project Activities
  • The health Promoters will ensure that all activities are implemented according to the monthly activity plan and in line with the project objectives. In the last week of each month the health Promoters will submit a brief report to Project Manager on the implementation of the planned activities, problems encountered solutions to the problems and other relevant information from the month’s activities
  • Conducting any other activity assigned to, by the line managers
