Job Description
- He/she will be dedicated to this project and is responsible for the implementation and follow-up of the Cash for Work activities on a day-to-day basis over the period of the project.
- Analyze, identify and resolve all of Cash for work related issues at community base level and ensure the positive progress of the works in the community.
- Ability of preparing BoQs and design for works at the community.
- Coordinate with community people and prepare work schedule for the most needed works/construction in the society agreed by the community representatives/people.
- Document all of the field work activities regarding skilled and unskilled labors.
- Improving ACTED presence and visibility in the field level and working groups
- Ensure that the security, health and wellbeing of staff as general on the field along with security department
- management and coordination including masons, workers, self-volunteers, cash for workers etc and liaison with local authorities and field stakeholders;
- To ensure that sustainable construction systems are set in place for longer term operation and maintenance of all water supplies and sanitation facilities, including the provision of all necessary training
- Assessment, survey and implementation of all projects as evaluation and monitoring of rehabilitation and construction work in related community projects in the community base.
- Daily site visit and monitoring and give technical advice to the field tech team and communities
- Make sure the Implementation of the projects according to the approved timetable plan.
- Ensure that all project activities are in accordance with budgetary constraints and being implemented on schedule within the particular area/provin
- Ability to Manage and control the quality and quantity of the project and labors.
- Explaining and clarifying the designed projects to the CDC members and resolving problems in a participatory method after properly analysing the context and issues.
- Monitor and implement the construction works/projects for assigned area.
- Providing progress reports according to the Cash for work activities
Job Requirement
- Ability to prioritize own workload, manage the time accordingly and inform the project officer where constraints will affect a project in terms of program or budget.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
- At least 1-2 years of previous of working experience.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work in Auto CAD program.
- Good team player, self-starter, has ability to work under minimum supervision and maintain good relationships
