The community mobilizer is responsible for organizing communities, motivating the target beneficiaries in the community and facilitating in the implementation process for the LANN+ project Facilitate in Balkh province and establish working relation with Community Development Councils (CDCs) in the target areas.
Train the CDCs in village management, resource mobilization and initiations in the target villages.
Assist CDCs to draw village map and develop community profile in the target villages.
Regular contact with the villagers and holding discussion about the problems they face and discussing possible solutions directly and/or through CDCs.
Facilitate undertaking baseline and needs assessment surveys for different program sectors in collaboration with the CDCs in target villages.
Facilitate all internal and external monitoring and evaluation processes required inputs from CDCs and villagers in the target communities.
Work with the villagers to ensure that the project is responding to identified needs and have the full participation of the community.
Facilitate contacts of all program sectors with the concerned community members and/or CDCs in the target villages and address any social issue/problem hampering the project implementation.
To act as the accurate and reliable information source for all program sectors and outsiders in terms of village directions, community profile, background of the target villages, social and cultural practices, people beliefs and customs and so on.

Preparation of weekly and monthly activity plan.
Singing of code of conduct and explanation of project objective to community members.
Selection of the project beneficiary on clear and transparent manner.
Develop good networking with communities on working environment.
Assist technical staff in social issues and solving community problems arising during project implementation.
Other duties assigned by the superiors, depending on available time capacity.
