Job Description
ob Summary:
24/7 Network surveillance of all network elements and fault management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- 24x7 Network surveillance of the BSS (BSC, RNC,2G/3G/LTE), NSS (MSS/MGW/IN/HSS/SBC), and TX (all transmission system) includes NE.
- Fault Management - 1st level Operation and Maintenance (Corrective and Preventive).
- Report, coordination, and escalation of faults.
- Generate and issue trouble tickets.
- Outage endorsement for colocation sites.
- Issuance of fault/flash reports, updates, and tracking to resolution.
- Assist in network modification implementation (i.e. CRQs).
- Maintains updated BTS/Node B/e-Node-B, cell site list.
- Maintains NMS and its IP configuration and connectivity.
- Shift, daily, weekly & monthly routines:
- prepare NOC shift report.
- logs event and endorsement.
- weekly outage evaluation and review.
- weekly report preparation.
- daily network status report.
- Do QoS on the national and international destinations/paths.
- Monitors power systems on major domestic MW backbones.
Job Requirement
- Graduate of Engineering (Electronics/Communications/IT).
- At least one year of work experience is desirable.
- Have knowledge in networking.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge in MS office/internet
- Good moral character.
- Willing to work on shifts.
- Good team player.
