About Afghan Relief Committee (ARC): For over 10 years, ARC have been providing safe, quality and best drug treatment service in residential and outpatient treatment for individuals living with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Operating in 3 treatment centers in Herat, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, self-help Support Groups, and case management of individuals living with SUD. We treat women and children, in so doing, address the underlying causes of SUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job Description
Duties:
- Daily check and register vital signs of patients.
- Guiding patients about injections and medicine.
- Disinfection of medical tools.
- Informing the responsible doctors about the medical situation of patients.
- Controlling the quantity and quality of medicine and giving report to responsible of medical affairs.
- Administering and keeping of medicine.
- Administering of medicine under supervision of doctor.
- Teaching medical issues according to schedule.
- Keeping medical records of patients.
- Transferring complicated hospitalized patient to other hospitals and follow up of the case.
- Physical checkup of patient at time of registration.
- Participation in daily meetings for patients.
At the time of entry and as well during the treatment sending patients to laboratory.
Job Requirement
- Graduated from Nursing Institute.
- Certified Nursing documents from the Ministry of Public Health.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in relevant field.
- Proficiency in Pashtoo, Dari and Preferably English languages.
- Ability to travel to fields.
- Team player.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in the field of drug treatment is an advantage.
