About Rahmat Hospital: Rahmat Hospital was founded by Engineer Mohibollah Naseri on November 5, 2013 in the town of Sultan Mahmoud Ghaznavi in Qasbeh, District 15th, of Kabul city. The Rahmat Hospital has been designed by Turkish engineers based on the European Union and Turkish standards. Its construction work was completed on November 9, 2020 and became ready for operation.

Job Description

Responsibilities of Hospital Nurse

Nurses play a critical role in ensuring patients receive the best possible care and support throughout their medical journeys.

Patient Assessment and Monitoring:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and monitoring vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
  • Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report any significant changes to the attending physician or healthcare team.

Care Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop and customize care plans for each patient, ensuring that they address individual needs and medical conditions.
  • Implement nursing interventions to assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.

Medication and Treatment Administration:

  • Administer medications accurately, ensuring adherence to prescribed dosages and schedules.
  • Perform treatments and medical procedures as ordered by physicians, including wound care, injections, intravenous therapy, and catheterization.

Diagnostic Testing and Analysis:

  • Conduct and assist with diagnostic tests and procedures such as blood tests, X-rays etc.
  • Collect specimens for laboratory analysis and ensure proper handling and transportation.

Patient Education and Support:

  • Provide patients and their families with comprehensive education on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families during stressful times, ensuring they understand the care process.

Emergency Response and Critical Care:

  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving care, including CPR and first aid.
  • Work in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms and intensive care units, delivering critical care to patients in severe conditions

Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all care provided, patient progress, and any changes in condition.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to medical documentation.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and continuous patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and progress.

Infection Control and Safety:

  • Adhere to infection-control protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the hospital.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment, following proper hygiene practices and safety procedures.

Advocacy and Ethical Practices:

  • Advocate patients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate and respectful care.
  • Uphold ethical standards in all aspects of nursing practice, maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Continual Learning and Professional Development:

  • Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical advancements and nursing practices.
  • Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, discharge planning, and patient referrals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and hospital efficiency.
 

Job Requirement

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Graduate of an accredited Nursing Diploma program or equivalent.
  • Licensing: Registered with ANMC
  • Work Experience: 2-3 years of
  • Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, multitasking, and organizational skills.
