Job Description
…………..Major Responsibilities
- Ensure quality of health and nutrition activities (screening for children under five, Growth monitoring, IYCF, IMAM, OPD-MAM, OPD-SAM, and MAM-BPW, OPD, MCH, and EPI in target HFs.
- Provision of health and nutrition support for HFs on OPD-SAM and OPD-MAM, Services in target together with the MHNTs or Health Facilities.
- Ensure quality of work (Health and Nutrition) individual level and community level (CHWs) in the field.
- Supportive supervision from the HFs to ensure the quality of performance and doing job assessment to increase capacity building of HFs staff.
- Following and conducting the training which targeted area in the project.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure timely response needs.
- Ensure that community nutrition health and interventions (MUAC screening and Referral of malnourished children, IYCF and Critical diseases, and hygiene promotion are integrated.
- Build the capacity of HFs staff by providing on-the-job training on IMAM activities.
- Support quality data collection of activities conducted in the HFs.
- Promote increasing awareness of appropriate health and nutrition behaviors in the project
- Ensure quality and timely reporting on all areas of implementation.
- Liaise closely with the MEAL team to understand the project outcomes
- Support the development of case studies and success stories from programmed implementation.
- Any other additional responsibility as communicated by the supervisor
Job Requirement
• At least 2 years’ experience in the provision of BPHS/Nutrition services.
• Good report writing skills.
• Ability to engage with different stakeholders and partners in the project site.
• Must have good attention to detail, all work must be checked.
• Graduated from medical faculty or any other related field
