Job Description

The Construction Project Manager (CPM) will oversee and manage all aspects of the Shahr-e-New Park Complex construction project for new buildings, renovations, and expansions. The CPM will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to an established project schedule with strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Typical Duties: Typical duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Project schedules and forecasts

• Processes project orders from order intake to end of warranty

• Manufacturing procurement/Purchase orders

• Coordination and checking of deliverables

• Project status reports and change orders

• Manage project budget. Measure, analyze, and present performance metrics of completed projects

• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.

Essential Functions:

 • Direct and manage project planning and execution from beginning to end.

• Define project scope in relation to scope sold, milestones,

• Develop engineering submittal packages

• Effectively communicate project expectations with Head of Engineering Department Farm in a timely & clear fashion.

• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

• Estimate the materials, labor, and resources needed to achieve project goals.

• Create or direct the creation of purchase orders to procure equipment, parts or components.

• Recommend budget changes or VO where necessary, draft change orders and submit for approval as required.

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel as needed to complete the project.

• Identify and resolve issues within the project team.

• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

• Track project milestones and deliverables.

 • Develop and deliver progress reports, daily reports, weekly reports, monthly reports, requirements documentation and presentations as required.

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

• Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

• Conduct completed project analyses and create a recommendations report that identifies successful and unsuccessful project elements.

• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Quality Control & Assurance:

Ensure that construction work meets all quality standards and project specifications.

Conduct inspections and oversee testing to verify compliance with design and regulatory requirements.

Address and rectify any defects or issues in construction work.

Job Requirement

Minimum of 10 years of experience in waste, construction project management, with a focus on waste water facilities or similar projects.

Having at least a bachelor's degree in engineering faculty and master's degree in project management

The applicant should have a good knowledge of Computer Programs.

The applicant should have a good knowledge of English, Dari and Pashto.

Skills:

• Fluent spoken and written English required

• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines

• Pre-Employment background screening.

• Understanding or all Safety protocols on the site.

• Ability to design and design construction projects
