About Company
About ORCD: Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2011 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.
Job Description
- Identify and communicate with health sector stakeholders and existing coordination mechanisms, including provincial health authorities (provincial, national and international organizations).
- Building strong coordination between health projects and stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for overall development and utilization of resources.
- Identify and manage risks and initiate corrective action where necessary, to maximize benefits to customers and stakeholders.
- Assess and monitor the availability of health services in targeted areas provided by all health actors;
- Ensure that health needs are identified through planning and coordination, with early rapid assessments.
- Lead and administer baseline and baseline surveys in targeted districts;
- Prepare and submit project reports as required, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually and at the end of the project.
- Conduct close supervision and monitoring of MHTs projects.
- Supervise and lead the team leaders of the mobile health teams to carry out their activities according to the plan.
- Lead winterization assessments with community activists.
- Attending PHCC meeting and presenting project activities.
- Strong coordination with BPHS/EPHS implementers
Job Requirement
Must be (MD) certified
Must passed exit exam
• At least 3 years of work experience in the relevant post.
• Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Words, PPT, Excel and Access.
• Knowledge of English in addition to national languages.
• Having strong communication and report writing skills.
