Job Description
- Prepare EPI outreach micro plan
- Administer EPI services to all children and women according to EPI policy through- out reach policy ( all FPI program vaccinations)
- Manage cold chain system according to EPI protocols.
- Support the provision of primary health care within the community.
- Counsel and educate patients, their families, and the community about immunization and relevant areas of health.
- Perform limited, select administrative duties such as patient charting, recording, and reporting of data, clinic and/or facility management, or coordination of specific educational or outreach programs.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative; safety, environmental, and infection prevention standards.
- Identify and report immediately any problem that interferes with the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her immediate supervisor.
- Participate in the weekly meeting of health facilities to share information and discuss the program progress.
Job Requirement
- EPI certified vaccinators
- At least two years’ experience with BPHS
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in health project management and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to travel to the targeted location
- Ability to support provincial team and provide/receive constructive feedback
- Good communication and counseling skills
