Job Description

  • Prepare EPI outreach micro plan
  • Administer EPI services to all children and women according to EPI policy through-  out reach policy ( all FPI program vaccinations)
  • Manage cold chain system according to EPI protocols.
  • Support the provision of primary health care within the community.
  • Counsel and educate patients, their families, and the community about immunization and relevant areas of health.
  • Perform limited, select administrative duties such as patient charting, recording, and reporting of data, clinic and/or facility management, or coordination of specific educational or outreach programs.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative; safety, environmental, and infection prevention standards.
  • Identify and report immediately any problem that interferes with the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her immediate supervisor.
  • Participate in the weekly meeting of health facilities to share information and discuss the program progress.

Job Requirement

  • EPI certified vaccinators
  • At least two years’ experience with BPHS
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in health project management and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to travel to the targeted location
  • Ability to support provincial team and provide/receive constructive feedback
  • Good communication and counseling skills
