Job Description
- Manage information technology and computer systems including all airport operational systems and passenger processing systems.
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of airport-specific IT systems, including AODB, RMS, FIDS, DCS, AOCC, CUSS, CUPPS, and Baggage Management Systems (BRS).
- Collaborate with airport stakeholders to integrate IT systems for enhanced collaboration, decision-making, and passenger satisfaction.
- Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of Public Address systems, Passenger Self-Service kiosks, Smart Pass systems, and Queue Management Systems.
- Oversee the configuration and management of AVSEC and Ground Handling systems, including Cargo Management Systems.
- Manage airport infrastructure components such as network infrastructure, servers, data canters, gates, self-check stations, and hardware.
- Implement and administer Virtualization technology.
- Monitor and maintain Biometrics.
- Administer Microsoft 365 platform, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive.
- Oversee backup solutions and storage systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Implement and maintain Azure infrastructures, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
- Manage identity and access control systems, ensuring secure user authentication and authorization.
- Administer servers, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems for security purposes.
- Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and other networking components.
- Administer firewall systems to ensure the security of organizational data and systems.
- Oversee wireless technologies, ensuring robust and secure connectivity.
- Administer VoIP systems for efficient and reliable communication.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support for IT issues, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
- Administer and optimize meeting room technologies for seamless collaboration.
Job Requirement
A. Education:
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- Computer skills; demonstrates IT Professional working
B. Professional Experience:
- 5 Years experience in IT field
- Extensive experience in airport IT operations and a deep understanding of airport-specific challenges and requirements.
- Liaise with airport stakeholders, including operations, security, and customer service teams, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with IT systems.
- Proven working experience as an IT Officer or relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Ability to plan and manage time
- Collaborate with IT teams.
- Good influencing and negotiating skills
- Fair knowledge of Company’s activities to know basic training requirements.
- Ability to understand the company’s standards and accreditations
C. Competencies Required:
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
D. Relevant Certifications:
- MCSE, CCNA, Azure Administrator, and Storage are preferred
