About ORCD: Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.
Job Description
- Preparing implementing of micro plan.
- In addition to vaccine distribution, conveying important messages to the community after vaccination.
- Collecting and recording of children information in a timely manner.
- Maintaining the refrigerator temperature where the vaccine is stored and recording its temperature.
- Standardized storage of all types of Vaccines.
- Registering Vaccine inventory and tally sheets of them.
- Receiving Vaccines from relevant Health Facility nearby and reporting it on daily basis.
- Collaborating with other mobile team colleagues.
- Coordination with doctors and nurses to refer eligible individuals for vaccination to the respective branches.
- Daily monitoring of health preservations.
- Executing duties according to vaccine norms and standards.
- Organizing monthly vaccine reports and delivering them to the relevant mobile team supervisor.
- Participating in gatherings and workshops invited by the office.
Job Requirement
- Having at least 12th grade certificate.
- Having 3-month or 21-day Initial Training certificate.
- Having at least 2-3 years of work experience in health care centers.
- In addition to proficiency in native languages, having access to English language.
- Having strong skills in communication, verbal and written communication and report writing.
- Being patient, maintaining a positive attitude and having the ability to work in crisis situations
