Job Description
Direct the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for the Hospital, in alignment with the EPHS and organization's mission and vision.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the staff of the project, including medical, nursing, administrative, and support personnel.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality and patient-centered health care services, in accordance with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction of the project, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with other departments, agencies, donors, and partners involved in the project, and represent the project in relevant meetings and forums.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and facilities, and compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accrediting requirements
- Identify and address any challenges or risks that may affect the project, and report any incidents or issues to the appropriate authorities
- Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in health care, emergency response, and humanitarian assistance, and incorporate them into the project as appropriate.
Job Requirement
Master's degree in health administration, management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of experience in hospital administration, preferably in a humanitarian or emergency setting.
- Knowledge of hospital operations, health care services, and emergency response.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing situations
- Proficiency in English and Pashto, and Dari
- Willingness to travel and work in a challenging environment
- Commitment to the organization's values and principles
