Job Description
Data Collection/Legal Officer in the mental health center located in the hospital in order to collect figures related to mental health issues and also collaborates with the health management and information system department.
Data Collection Officer is responsible for arrangement and regulation, evaluation and supervision, mental health affairs officer in hospitals for the purpose of supporting them in collecting mental illness figures, following standard criteria and protocols for managing mental health issues for the purpose of returning and guiding patients.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Submission of cases from the medical facilitator and other representatives, attendance at the mental health center in the hospital for support and cooperation.
2- Conducting interviews.
3- Registering information and figures of mental health cases in the database.
4- Assistance and cooperation with the mental health center for the purpose of providing full cooperation with mental health patients.
Supervisory responsibilities:
1- Supervision and coordination management with the responsible officer in the planned health facilities.
2- Responsible for managing, collecting figures and other information related to mental health center.
Technical responsibilities:
1- Registration and recording of documents.
2- Protecting mental health patients from further harm.
Informing and providing information for mental health patients regarding their rights according to the laws in force.
4- Providing advice for the patient and family members.
5- Attending meetings, conferences with other official bodies.
6- Cooperation with office employees to build a specialized team.
7-Preparing and arranging the report for the mental health center aimed at the manager of the relevant department and other managers.
8-Register and record the database correctly.
Job Requirement
- Graduated from Law Faculty.
- At least 3-4 years’ experience of data management and data collection. Additional experience in conducting research, surveys and any other data collection is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Dari, Pashto and English.
- Required proficiency in MS Office packages and relevant software programs.
